We’re humbled and grateful to be awarded the Essex FA FairPlay Award in January, after a very kind nomination from Thurrock Tigers FC Club Secretary, Claire Blackmore.
As you can see below, this followed a cup match between our U11 Falcons and Thurrock Tigers FC last month where our Chairman, Steve Richardson, was watching with interest. The game was played in high spirits and both teams showed impeccable behaviour & sportsmanship throughout. After the game, Steve presented the Thurrock Tigers goalkeeper with a trophy for his outstanding performance and was keen to celebrate the sportsmanship shown by all of the players on his team.
A great gesture from Steve and a big thank you to Thurrock Tigers again for taking the time out to nominate us for this award. We look forward to many more games in the future!
