FA Charter Standard Award
FC Redwing were awarded FA Charter Standard status in June 2019.
The FA's Charter Standard Award recognises and rewards high quality of levels of provision in club, league and schools football. Since it was launched in 2001, the award has been granted to 4,500 clubs with 460 advanced level Community clubs and 120 leagues, and there are now over 2,500 Charter Standard Award Schools in England.
The FA Charter Standard programme aims to raise standards across grassroots football. Accredited clubs are expected to maintain and improve their environments. As such FC Redwing are asked to ensure the following minimum standards are upheld:
· Our club commits to completing the annual health check each season following initial accreditation.
· Our club commits to having a stocked first aid kit available at all training sessions and fixtures.
Working with the Essex FA, we also have to provide evidence of the following processes or procedures:
Club constitution and rules in place
Committee meeting minutes taken regularly
Most recent club AGM minutes taken
Annual accounts available
Club code of conduct in place
Club safeguarding policy in place
Club equality policy in place
Relevant coaching , first aid and safeguarding
Qualifications in place and in date
